Wila Frank – “Tonight”

Today Wila Frank shares “Tonight,” the latest single from her upcoming album Black Cloud, an album of longing, heartache, revenge (in the form of living well). Her lyrics cut to the bone, production is sparkling, and her voice is otherwordly. At first listen I thought of Fiona Apple, in terms of emotional depth and wisdom beyond her years.

Tonight’ is about recognizing your own pain in someone else. As humans, I think we are all mirrors to one another and we long for each other in order to understand ourselves.
