GospelbeacH – “It’s Too Late”

Good news for us all – my favorite band, GospelbeacH, releases a new song today, building anticipation for their upcoming full-length. Luther Russell’s driving guitar line and Jonny Neimann’s piano anchor the reflective piece, a bit wistful but GospelbeacH can never discard their sunshine-infused optimism. Like the spirit of Brent Rademaker, head of GospelbeacH and Curation Records, who have both faced immense loss recently with the passing of the effervescent Kellie Clonts Colby, he knows the light is there and proceeds to follow his predestined mission spread the good music to the world.

Springtime and “hope springs eternal”… at least that’s what they say. After a detour into bubblegum covers with last years Jam Jam EP, GospelbeacH has started working on a new full-length album but like pressing a vinyl record these days… these things take time, a long time.

Adding Luther Russells (from labelmates Those Pretty Wrongs and previously The Freewheelers)  pretty 12string and dirty Westerburg / Mike Campbell Electric guitar to the usual mix of Brent Rademaker, Jon Niemann and Trevor Beld Jimenez “It’s Too Late” is actually right on time for those who can’t get enough melancholy pop in the vibe of Petty/ Chilton… more to come.

As GospelbeacH continues to work on the follow-up to their 3rd and most successful studio album LET IT BURN they took a little detour to raise the vibrations and celebrate the good times with a little detour through the past with last year’s acclaimed Jam Jam EP (single of the year in SHINDIG! Magazine). During 2021 we also saw GospelbeacH pay tribute to their long lost friend, original bandmember and mentor Neal Casal with their version of his “You Don’t See Me Crying” being part of the masterful tribute compilation “Highway Butterfly” both as featured single + video.

“It’s Too Late” is the first taste of what’s next from GospelbeacH and the first taste of the new spring 2022.
