Free All Day is the name of the forthcoming album by singer-songwriter Ross Jenkins.
It’s first single, “Small House”, is a fast-paced reflection on a quickly-changing world, a
pitter-patter of rhythms and cosmic-ambience that draws influence from records like Joni
Mitchell’s mystical Night Ride Home and the homebound reflections of Bill Callahan’s recent
output.
Supported for the first time by the talents of drummer Ryan Jewell (Ryley Walker, Brigid Mae
Power) and pedal steel guitarist Barry Walker Jr. (Mouth Painter, s/t works), Free All Day is
sure to be another refined-yet-DIY entry in a canon of Pacific-Northwest balladry that Jenkins
has and will continue to cultivate in the years to come.
